Heating & Furnace

Heating and furnace service in Fort Worth and North Texas

When it gets cold in North Texas, it gets cold — and nothing feels better than a warm house. If your heating system isn’t keeping up or has failed completely, we repair it, and we replace it when that’s the honest answer. Family owned and operated since 1989.

Has your heating system gone out, leaving your family shivering on a cold winter night? The team at Lawrence Air Conditioning & Heat can repair your existing equipment or provide replacement heating equipment to get the house warm and comfortable again. Our heating repair services are affordable and performed by experienced, knowledgeable technicians.

You might not understand why your furnace isn’t operating properly anymore — that’s our job to figure out, and we do it quickly. We repair and service every major brand, whatever equipment is already in your home. When a system is genuinely finished, American Standard is the one line we install.

Signs your furnace needs attention

Heating problems rarely arrive without warning. Book an inspection if you notice any of these:

  • Energy bills have suddenly shot up without a change in the weather
  • Funny smells are coming from your vents
  • You hear loud noises the system doesn’t usually make
  • The system runs but the house never quite gets warm
  • The heat has failed completely

You’ll only get the heating repairs and services you actually require. You’ll never have to worry about us billing you for something you didn’t need in the first place — and if you’ve already been quoted somewhere else, our second opinions are free.

Heating repair and replacement

If your heating system is in trouble or broken, don’t delay. We offer complete repair services, so when we leave, you can rest assured the problem is completely fixed rather than patched until the next cold snap.

We also offer heater replacements when a furnace is no longer functioning. Estimates on residential and commercial replacements are free, and financing is available with approved credit (WAC) — see financing options or read when repair doesn’t make sense if you’re weighing a repair bill against a new system.

What our fall heating tune-up covers

One of the easiest ways to avoid paying for heating repairs you can’t afford is regular maintenance — handled before the weather turns, so the furnace is ready when you need it. We’ll send a qualified technician at your convenience. The fall tune-up includes:

  • Inspect furnace heat exchanger
  • Check limit controls
  • Check safety devices
  • Check for gas leaks
  • Check heat strips
  • Check for carbon monoxide
  • Clean burners (in place)
  • Check air filters
  • Check blower capacitor
  • Check amperage
  • Test gas pressure
  • Check temperature (supply & return)
  • Confirm proper furnace operation

Several of those checks are safety checks, not comfort checks — a cracked heat exchanger, a gas leak or a carbon monoxide reading are the reasons we’d rather look at a furnace in October than in January. See our maintenance plans if you’d rather have this on a schedule than remember it each fall.

Questions homeowners ask

When should I schedule a heating tune-up?

Before the weather gets cold. The point of the visit is to find the worn part while you can still live without heat for a day — so the furnace is ready to work when it’s time.

Will you sell me repairs I don’t need?

No. We’ll only give you the heating repairs and services you require, and we tell you what we found before we work. Second opinions are free if another company has already given you a diagnosis.

Do you service heating systems you didn’t install?

Yes. We repair and service every major brand, whatever furnace is already in the house. American Standard is the brand we install when a system needs replacing — that has no bearing on whose equipment we’ll work on.

Cold house? Let’s get the heat back on.
